Today we are talking about where is Frederick CO ?
The reason I decided to discuss this topic today is because I’m often surprised that people either don’t know about Frederick CO at all or they only know it because they’ve seen the name on the sign as they’re driving on I-25. So where is Frederick, CO?
It is around 35 minutes north of downtown Denver, about 30 to 35 minutes east of Boulder, 35 to 40 minutes south of the Fort Collins exits, and it is about 45 minutes to DIA. Or you can take the toll road and it’s about 30 minutes. As you can see, it’s actually quite centrally located if you work in one of these areas. The only problems you’re going to have is sometimes when it snows or if there’s an accident, then that commute is going to get a little longer.
Frederick CO is a great place to live. I live here. We have a small downtown area with restaurants and a brewery, and the post office and some other quaint buildings that people don’t know about.
I invite people up to have a beer with me and they are shocked to know that Frederick Colorado actually has this cute little downtown area. It is a great place to live.
Population in 2020 was around 14 and a half thousand. That is growing. We have new neighborhoods going up all of the time. It is part of the Tri-Town community, which is Dacono, Frederick, and Firestone, and those three towns do events and things together and it is a lot of fun. So, Frederick CO is centrally located, it is a great place to live, and if you are thinking of moving to Frederick, Colorado and need some more information, feel free to contact me.
