Where is Fort Lupton Located?

Fort Lupton is located Northeast of Denver. It is about a 35-minute commute into Denver, 20 minutes to Greeley and around 40 minutes to Boulder. If you need to get to DIA quickly that is not a issue. It is about a 20–25-minute drive!

Fort Lupton is close to Brighton, Frederick, Dacono and Hudson Colorado.

What is there to do in Fort Lupton?

Fort Lupton being a smaller town is not exactly a hopping place. However, there are a few things to do! Be sure to check out the video below for more details on things to do!

History – Fort Lupton has it’s own history museum. You can also see historical houses and places throughout and surrounding the town.

Restaurants – There are quite a few restaurants in Ft Lupton. You have all of your fast-food options. You also have some popular locally owned spots. One you will want to try is Wholly Stromboli!

Parks – Ft Lupton has a good variety of parks, including its own skate park! The park at the back of the Rec Center is one of the favorites in the area. Neighborhood parks are also dotted throughout. East of 85 you will find the South Platte River and there is access from Pearson Park. There is also a playground and ball fields there.

Rec Center – Ft Lupton has a nice Rec Center with large swimming area, walking track, courts and a gym. You can grab fitness and swim classes here too!

Living in Fort Lupton

With Ft Lupton growing there are quite a few new neighborhoods going up. These are mainly on the East side. However, there are smaller new build homes and townhomes nestled on the NE side of Ft Lupton too. Ft Lupton has older homes throughout especially on the North side of town.

If you are looking to live closer to schools, you may want to stay with the NE and East side of town. However, being a smaller town you are pretty close to schools no matter where you are.

If you are looking for acreage in Ft Lupton the East or Northeast side will once again be your best bet. You can get acreage in Fort Lupton with older/smaller homes in neighborhoods like Aristocrat Ranches. If you are looking for larger homes on acreage, check out the homes off S Purman Avenue.

There are lots of fun community events held throughout the year. The biggest one being the annual Trapper Days festival with a big parade and fireworks.
